The origins of the Tormentator

A rumor supposes that the Tormentator, the pistol created by Hissering the Handyman, is about to reappear in the World of Twelve. While we look into the matter, discover more about the origins of this redoubtable weapon.

The origins of the Tormentator
Hissering the Handyman was a warrior and a brilliant inventor. Thanks to his mechanical multifunction steam arm, he was able to launch himself into the air, to cut through tree trunks, generate flames, or shoot projectiles. As you can imagine, people avoided upsetting him!

His story took an unexpected turn the day he was engaged by the King of Bonta to put an end to the actions of Count Saverne. Hidden in his Black Tower, the Count kept the bodies of villagers that he himself had kidnapped, in giant jars. Not a story to tell your children at bedtime…

It was only at the end of one of the world's most memorable fights that Hissering, stupefied, discovered that the Count had five children: Darkness, Cloud, Drop, Flame, and Leaf. Without hesitating, he decided to adopt them, not suspecting that it would change the course of his life forever…

Time passed, and life was peaceful. Then one day, four of his adopted sons discovered incredible elemental powers. Hissering became completely obsessed with this magic and eventually crafted a weapon for each of them, capable of channeling and amplifying their magic: the Tormentator.

But later, when Darkness, the last brother, discovered the power that was sleeping in him, it was a debacle throughout the city: he hysterically started killing anyone he crossed, and Hissering had to intervene. Captured and imprisoned, Darkness swore to get his revenge on his adoptive father just as soon as he was free…

And some time later, Darkness made good on his vow. He found Hissering, started a duel, and right when he was just about to lose, rallied his four brothers to his cause: Hissering died, assaulted by the children he had once cared for.

Hissering's story isn't the most joyous… And while it ended in pain, the story of his sons and their Tormentators had only just begun

I never hear this history before, It is new? Poor father of the tormentators had a tragic fate. I think that is a preconcept choose the dark tormentator to be the bad guy... Why not the white tormentator or the blue? The darkness is for the wellgod the people misunderstand it.

I know some guys that like these incarnation, to me is useless. The Ankama should turn the tormentator into sidekick and I hope that the sidekicks come to the Touch soon.  wink

'And while it ended in pain, the story of his sons and their Tormentators had only just begun…' The way they ended this kinda sounds like there is more to come, perhaps some new content based around the brothers? A new area and a dung for each brother, that would be cool! Just my theory.

Hmm I agree with -Kungfury- here, introducing these into touch as sidekicks would be an amazing way to take touch into its own path of updates
