DOFUS Touch class revamp tests

Although we were unable to offer playtests in our studio as usual this year, we still want your help with the first tests of the upcoming class overhauls! Read on for more details.

Three class overhauls

In addition to some more minor balancing work on certain classes, the Cra, Eniripsa, and Sacrier classes will be getting extensive makeovers this year!

These choices will be explained and detailed in our devblog posts, which will appear on the official website in the next two weeks.

We know that you've also been waiting for changes affecting other classes like Ecaflips and Xelors, but for those classes, we have plans that we're not quite ready to implement yet. Therefore, we felt it was better to wait so that once those updates are ready, they'll truly live up to your expectations.

Before the beta tests planned for this summer, our game designers want to run some initial tests in small groups with a few community members in May and June. Interested in taking part?

Test plan

By completing the questionnaire provided below, every player can sign up for the chance to take part in these tests with our team.

Six French-speaking players, six English speakers, and six Latin American players will be selected based on their profiles and our goals for these tests.

These players will be given "test accounts" for the next beta test, scheduled for the end of May (through the DOFUS Touch Early app), and they'll have the opportunity to test all 3 overhauls. Throughout these tests, they'll be able to discuss their initial impressions with our team, mostly via Discord.

Unfortunately, we can't select any more players than this for this stage, but don't worry! Every player will be able to test the class overhauls and balancing updates during a second round of beta tests that are planned for July, and to give us their feedback and discuss things with our team on our forums or on the Discord for the beta.

Full schedule

  • The questionnaire to register for your chance to participate is available now, and will be open until Monday, May 10, at 12:00 noon (Paris time).
  • Devblogs about the three class overhauls will be published over the next two weeks.
  • On May 13 14, we will publish the list of selected players and announce the date of the first beta tests.
  • On May 24, a voice chat with our team will be organized on Discord for the 6 French-speaking players to kick off the tests, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM (Paris time).
    • For the selected English-speaking and Latin American players, chat rooms followed by our team will be created on the official Discord the same day at 5:00 PM (Paris time).
  • We'll then let these players test the overhauls on their own for a week.
  • They'll be asked to return a questionnaire to our team no later than Thursday, May 27.
  • On May 31, a second voice chat session will be organized for the French-speaking players from 5:00 to 8:00 PM (Paris time) for a debrief about the tests.
    • For the English-speaking and Latin American players, the debrief will take place in the corresponding Discord text chat rooms, starting on May 31.
  • Around mid-June, an article will be published on the official site to debrief the entire community on the results of these tests.
  • And finally, the public beta tests for the class overhauls and balancing updates will kick off in July!

no sé por que la demora de balancear algunos hechizos del ocra por ejemplo, no me parece que deban pedir tanto para subirle a la agilidad, sabiendo que sus hechizos tampoco son tan fuertes,
sería bueno para el juego y para personajes como el ocra que modificaran el golpe crítico del juego, por que quedar 1/2 es siempre una lotería, mejor que lo cambien al sistema de critico % , que ya lo han implementado, habria mas variedad de equipamientos,
hay hechizos que cambian mucho su daño en critico con respecto a su daño base, como flecha adsorbente, ralentizarte, y destructora, que estaría bueno mirar,
flecha analgésica es un hechizo que sobra, realmente no cumple pienso yo con el rol del ocra.. podian implementar esa reducción de daño para otro hechizo que haga daño, o que flecha analgésica haga daño de aire, o agua, o inte, fuerza,...pero que haga,
y el dopeul ocra mejor ni hablemos,

I think Cra is the most balanced class out of all classes so why start there? In my opinion other classes should have higher priority and necessity such as Osas (or at least nerf them by a lot... jk) or idk... make sadidas more interesting.

Mínimo una pocima de cambio de clase para aquellas razas afectadas por las reformas en caso de no quedar satisfechos con ellas, en caso contrario significaría perder no solo el tiempo invertido en subir de nivel al personaje, también, sería perder objetos que están ligados al personaje.

I am really surprised to see Cra on there but it really drives the point that these are mainly overhauls rather than a balance update. Definitely excited to a have breath of fresh air in classes that have been somewhat the same as when the game first launched 3-4 years ago.

El ocra es un personaje que tiene gran desigualdad contra muchos personajes
La raza que menos atención tiene es el ocra el único cambio que se le ha notado es el de la eliminación del hechizo golpe crítico, la flecha analgésica del resto no le han echo nada antes piensan quitarle esa flecha analgésica no tiene gracia antes deberían quitarla y poner una de daño agua o agilidad deben implementar también cambios en el hechizo dopeul ocra

Hay posibilidades de tocar echizos que antes fueron nerfeados como coraza antes estubo bien pero ahora el juego es muy agresivo y no vale la pena tanto que un echizo de 5 pa te lo quiten con echizos menores.

Cuando arreglaran la caligrafia tengo problemas para hacer esos malditos dibujos y no puedo hacerlos nunca bien debido al estado de mis manos (tengo tension nerviosa) deberian ser automaticos con solo tener el maldito kanji

These revisions are generally more nerf oriented than balance adjustment. cha eni, old osa and now sacrier. If anything happens to the new sacrier like that of osa, I will quit the game completely. however, you should offer the option to change the class for free to the characters you change in the extensive changes. What if I am not satisfied with the new sacrier? Will all my efforts be wasted? Why do I have to spend money for a situation that is not caused by my fault? The age of this kind of old school games is over. For example, I can start having fun directly by erasing it and installing pubg. nevertheless, I meant a sacrier by tormenting for months and throwing my time away. now my efforts will be wasted. Why aren't extensive changes presented as a separate class? Why are rare classes nerfed while the most popular classes are iop and eni? until when will these nerf jobs last? Until nine out of ten characters are iop and the remaining one is the eni?

This game is like it was made for people to suffer, not to have fun. destroy this game too and make another game set in the same universe. Let it be called 'ordeal simulation'. so those who play your new game will not be disappointed.

when the tymador sad they never modify my tyma, it is difficult to cover the bombs only having 1 spell to protect them and it is only at a distance uu in koli at min 10 if they focus on destroying the bombs it is like being 3 vs 2, you feel quite useless and in fights of 8 it is not valid and it becomes support

cuando el tymador sad nunca modifican a mi tyma, es difícil tapar las bombas solo teniendo 1 hechizo para protegerlas y es solo a distancia uu en koli al min 10 si se enfocan en destruir las bombas es como estar 3 vs 2, te sientes bastante inútil y en peleas de 8 queda invalido y pasa a ser soporte por los bosteos

This may be a radical idea but . . . maybe wait for them to layout the changes they're thinking of making before getting out the torches and pitchforks?

This isn't even in beta testing yet, they're recruiting for alpha testing. We don't know what they're thinking of yet AND it's so early that what they're proposing now may change entirely before it even reaches the beta phase.

Personaly l think that fix of cra , xelor and sacrier won't help at all. Mostly classes can't beat osamodas in pvp. Bc osa just making huge samon and runing awaya also heals really much. Sram really bad now and agi especially. Steamer good only on multy elemnts, but not on one elemnet, ingame many problems with classes like that. Make update for all classes and after turn it into the game instead of making few chars owerpowered like osa.

va a empezar el desalojo de jugadores apoyo la idea de la pócima de cambio de clase de regalo incluso con eso se ira gente del juego me incluyo con los sacros pero apoyo lo de las pócimas porque sin una opción seria dictadura por dios!!

Muchas personas van comentando sin tener en cuenta que el juego existe hace 2 decadas, yo juego hace 15 años dofus y he visto los cambios. No lloren por el ocra, pues su ultima actualización real fue echa hace aproximadamente 10 años y el eni y el sacro son razas que han sufrido un abandono similar. Aclaro que cualquier juego con diversidad de razas , elementos y accesorios siempre tendrá desbalance. Si no les gusta el desbalance y les gusta el juego. Pues a crear pj nuevo y explotar su tiempo overpower.

me parece q el cofre del anutrof debería volver ese cofre ya no sirve para nada y el anutro no es q cause daño impresionante se supone q esa era la raza codiciosa del juego donde esta todo lo bonito de dofus o pronto se tragaran este como lo hicieron con el de pc hay ankama pilas q ya perdiste jugabilidad en pc no lo hagas en los moviles

Tengo esa tres razas ocra, eni, sacro, me parece que estan bien, la que si me parece que es demasiado débil son los gatos y los yopu, son malísimo en pvp
