Official Dofus Touch Emulator
By xelorus#3209 May 06, 2023, 22:20:24Dear Ankama Team,
I am writing to suggest the development of an official emulator for your mobile game, Dofus Touch.
As you are aware, many players have been seeking out unofficial emulators to play the game on their PCs and to engage in multi-accounting. However, this has raised issues related to the security and integrity of the game, as well as potential legal concerns. Developing an official emulator for Dofus Touch would provide a solution to these problems while also offering a range of benefits for your players and your company.
Here are some of the reasons why I believe that an official emulator would be a valuable addition to your offerings:
Additionally, the emulator could offer exclusive in-game content or items that are only available to players who use the official emulator. This would incentivize players to use the official emulator and could generate additional revenue through in-app purchases.
Furthermore, an official emulator could also attract new players to Dofus Touch who prefer to play games on their PCs. This could result in increased revenue from advertising, in-app purchases, and subscription-based services. By offering an official emulator, Ankama could tap into a new audience and expand its revenue streams.
I would also like to point out that there are other successful mobile MMORPGs that have developed their own official emulators to provide their players with additional ways to access their games. For example, Diablo Immortal, RuneScape, and Albion Online all have official emulators that allow players to enjoy the game on their PCs. Blizzard's official emulator for Diablo Immortal and RuneScape's official emulator allow players to enjoy the games on both mobile devices and PCs. Albion Online also has an official emulator that is popular among players who prefer larger screens and mouse and keyboard controls.
These examples demonstrate the demand for official emulators among the mobile MMORPG community. Developing an official emulator for Dofus Touch would put Ankama in line with other successful games in the market, providing additional benefits to players.
As a player myself, who invested many hours in all these games before, I can attest to the value of an official emulator. And as someone who is getting older, I prefer to play games on my PC for health and convenience reasons. Being able to play Dofus Touch on my PC would allow me to enjoy the game for longer periods without straining my eyes or neck. I am sure that there are many other players who share this sentiment and would greatly benefit from an official emulator.
Overall, an official emulator for Dofus Touch would be win-win situation for both Ankama and its players as it could provide a range of benefits for your players and your company. I encourage you to consider this option and explore the possibilities of developing an emulator that meets the needs of your audience.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Someone who loves Dofus Touch.

- Enhanced User Experience: Many players prefer to play games on larger screens, especially for extended periods of time. An official emulator would allow players to enjoy Dofus Touch on their PCs, which can provide a more immersive experience and make it easier to manage multiple accounts.
- Increased Engagement: By providing players with the ability to play Dofus Touch on different devices, you can increase the overall engagement and retention of your player base. This is particularly true for players who may not have access to high-end mobile devices or who prefer to play on a PC.
- Better Security: Unofficial emulators can often be risky to use, as they may contain malware or other security threats. Developing an official emulator would ensure that your players are using a safe and secure platform, which would help to build trust and loyalty among your audience.
- Potential Revenue: An official emulator could provide significant revenue opportunities for your company. Players may be willing to pay for the convenience and benefits of being able to play Dofus Touch on their PCs.

We seem to be heading towards mobile applications on PC's natively anyway:
These are good signs.
The truth is though, we still have to sit around and wait for Ankama to jump on board with a PC app regardless, and I really hope they do.
