Items for Upcoming Sets

Hello, everyone!

As explained in this article, we want to offer you a chance to select the items to be included in upcoming sets as part of the major update in December.

We've decided to ask for your input because this is a topic that often gives rise to lively discussions. This time, we want to include you in the creation of these new sets and hear your arguments. And we know that lots of players will be excited to jump into this discussion!

To convince us, you'll have to use your strongest arguments! For example, if you want us to select Earth-Fire elements, you'll need to explain your reasons. And even if your preference gets the majority, it's mainly these arguments that will make the difference! Needless to say, we're counting on you to be as objective as possible… ha ha!

For each set, you can suggest as many items as you like: just one item, two or three items, etc. However, you can't replace a headgear with a cloak, for example.

Bear in mind that two completely combinable sets with matching items cannot both provide an AP bonus.

Note that we will have the last word on the characteristics proposed for the various items, and that our choices may differ if none of the proposals seems appropriate, logical or justified.

Here are the levels of the sets for which we'd like your help in choosing items:

  • A level 160-170 set consisting of a cloak, headgear and axe.
  • A level 170-180 set consisting of a headgear, ring and belt.
  • A level 180-190 set consisting of a ring, belt and cloak.
  • A level 200 set consisting of a cloak, amulet and staff.
  • A level 200 set consisting of a headgear, ring and boots.

Hello, everyone!

Here's our feedback on your suggestions. Since your input mainly focused on the two level 200 sets, we took a few more liberties with the other sets, even to the point of changing their levels. We'll continue to listen to your input for the next few days.

After next week, it'll be too late. Then we'll be back in touch a few weeks later for the beta, when all this can be tested properly under real-world conditions and with all the information in hand!
  • A level 175-185 set consisting of a cloak, headgear and axe.
    • Set focused on the Agility element
 
  • A level 185-190 set consisting of a headgear, ring and belt.
    • Set focused on the Air and Intelligence elements
 
  • A level 190-199 set consisting of a ring, belt and cloak.
    • Set focused on the Chance and Intelligence elements
 
  • A level 200 set consisting of a cloak, amulet and staff.
    • Set focused on the Earth element
 
  • A level 200 set consisting of a headgear, ring and boots.
    • Set focused on Power and Pushback Damage

A level 200 set based on the Air and Fire elements also seems like a good choice for the game, but not in a situation where it might be totally compatible with the Spectral Bandit and the Ava Taroun. So we'll save that for a later set!

Four of the above sets will go along with new content, while the other will be accessible with resources from Ascension Island. There are some other surprises in store as well!

We haven't given up on our plan to make adjustments to existing equipment. But for right now, our resources are mainly focused on the major end-of-year update.

In the meantime, we don't want to neglect the content that's come in through Ascension Island – for economy reasons within the game, but also to ensure that this feature continues to hold players' interest (and ultimately these two points are closely linked).

Good afternoon.
First of all,this new sets should be crafted with Ascension Orbs in order to increase value of them, 27.000 kk c/u in brutas (So low),There are really nice combinations of lvl 200 sets in the game except for the build agility/chance,is true that the buff of Hellmunster set helped a bit,but there arent good combinations with Shushu set,u only can have 10/6 or 11/5 without sacrifice some nice stats,so I really think new set Agility/Chance that suits shushu set will help a lot to the game,plus it would very interesting to add Neutral Porcentage Resistance (%) None of 200 sets give nice NeutralResistance and in the end,for High Levels game content will help a lot ( Ascensión Floors 80+)

-New Set that suit Shushu Set is necessary in order to get 11/6 or 12/5 like other final sets,this maybe revive Zurcarak Ag/Cha,Zurcarak class is underpower in this meta,No zurcarak in 1vs1,nor Koliseum,useless in Ascension,medium for f3...

-Neutral Resistance as Bandit give 45 Agility %

Some ideas:
  • I think copying the Luminescent set would be a good choice for the Headgear, Ring, and Boots at level 200. This would be a Strength/Chance/Pushback Set. Secondary characteristics would be MP reduction and lock.
  • Alternatively the stats from the Triton set look very interesting. As a non elemental set, this set mostly has huge vitality, big critical damage, big pushback damage, 800 initiative, and resists. Only the set bonus provides some Power, which encourages the use of the whole set.
  • Another alternative is a better Agility/Chance set. Currently the Shushuverain Set is very bad for a level 200 set. An endgame Agility/Chance set should probably be the Cloak/Amulet/Staff set. While it would be nice to have the weapon slot open for a potential Kotoulou Bow, or Shushuverain Scepter, it would fit well with the Shushuverain set. Its stats should be like the Staruman or Tal Kasha sets.
  • Sets like the Anerice set also look interesting. Huge vit, some resists, but no real offensive stats would be an interesting introduction to the game.

 Considero que se debe hacer un arreglo y reforma a muchos hechizos para que haya una mejor comodidad y fluidez de juego,  algunas invocaciones soy inutiles he incluso se puede decir que brutas uno las invoca esperando un resultado y resulta teniendo el peor de los resultados como en caso de invisibilidad  cuando el conejo cura o da pm  te destapa y tus enemse dan de cuenta donde estas lo mismo pasa con el gatito al querer curar un aliado que está invisible, sería bueno crear variaciones de sets y conjuntos para todos los niveles, preferiblemente para nivel 190+, pues sería excelente que el dopeul fuese más fuerte y pudiese cumplir labores que uno no pudiese en batalla, se supone que es un dopeul una replica de tus poderes, pero aveces el dopeul resulta ser inservible, la jugabilidad de perdida poder de inte del sram me parece muy limitada, debería de ser como en un principio que tenía más alcance, sería excelente poder implementar los ídolos para hacer las peleas más difíciles y obtener más experiencia.

Seria bueno una combinacion de set que incluyan las retiras de PM y PA,  para los niveles 160-170

Hola seria muy bueno un set de inte para niveles 173- 180 que complemente al set tengu o al casador furtivo ya que dichos set carecen de resistencias porcentuales asi tendriamos una mejor esperiencia de juego los de inteligencia

Pues me gustaría que algunos dofus de deop fueran por misiones como otros eso ayudaría mucho y en cuestión de los set me gustan buenos en resistencias y ojalá de fo o cha

My proposal is a level 200 Strength set consisting of a cloak, amulet and staff.

-This set must give an AP bonus if worn completely (We want 12/6! It’s been 4 years)
-Should allow you to get 1/2 (please not more -crit malus!)
-Good % resistances (Why is Spectral set so OP and nothing OP for strength?)
-Should give some critical damage
-High wisdom or decent AP parry (Broucey already gives MP parry)

Strength end game sets are left behind, so I’d like to see one of those. There have been a lot of sets with strength-int combo, and talking about other builds, any build can get to 12/6 easily without
having to sacrifice stats by wearing bad complementary sets. 

The best ‘’pure’’ strength set at the moment is probably Broucey, which is a Frigost 2 set without good % resistances. 

The best weapon is the Stilted Shovel, also an old item that gives you a huge malus of -Critical Hits. It’s extremely hard to be 1/2 with it, and this weapon can’t compete against lets say, the Sacrificial Daggers for agility build, the Monkiking Sword for chance build, let alone the super OP Corrupted Bow that makes people switch to intelligence.

Despite the release of the Croknives, which in terms of damage is not bad, the stats of it are still inferior to the Shovel. Experienced players still are using the shovel because of its good % resistances.

I could go on and on comparing different builds, different sets, and we'd conclude the same thing. Strenght needs a new set that can compete against all the other OP equipment.
