The Abyss Joust #2 – The Remake 2021-09-13 17:00
Back to list
INTRODUCTION
The Abyss Joust is a PvP competition taking place on the DOFUS Touch platform; it's the community's main event, bringing together players from every server internationally!
The competition will pit 256 teams against one another, each consisting of three different players, in an online "Swiss Rounds" elimination format. The final stages will be based on a single-elimination bracket in a best-of-three format (two winning matches).
The entire tournament will be played online on one specific server closed to spectators, except for those with special authorization (such as streamers, moderators, etc.).
What's more, since our aim is always to move forward with our community, this time we're partnering with three players you might already know: Bwin, Megure, and Ozohn. They'll be managing and organizing the tournament in partnership with Ankama.

REGISTRATION
How It Works
Teams registering for the Abyss Joust #2 – The Remake must have three players.* The players must all be different, and their characters must be level 100 or higher. More specifically, if players wish to use a particular class during the tournament, they must have a character from that class who levels 100 or higher.
When registration opens, one of the three players must go to the official website, https://www.challonge.com. Once there, they need to create an account.
A link will be available in the next announcement, with which you'll be able to register your team by providing the following information: team name, the three participating characters' nicknames (certified to different players, just as a reminder!), their classes, their servers, their Ankama nicknames (in the "Nickname#1234" format), and the team captain's nickname.
Important: Once a character is registered, they are qualified as a participant! If the same character's nickname is registered in two different teams, both teams' registrations will be deleted. Keep an eye on the event's Discord to make sure it doesn't happen to you! If you experience any issues, contact one of the three organizers.
Tournament registration opens on September 17, 2021, at 12:00 PM (Paris time) and closes on October 3, 2021, at 10:00 PM (Paris time).
There is no substitution system for this tournament. You know the dates and times you must be available to play your matches. If you already know that you cannot guarantee your presence, be a good sport and let someone else have your spot.
* One registration per account per individual. Multi-accounting is not permitted during the competition.
Restrictions
Class duplicates are not permitted to play together. Also, some class duos are forbidden; here is a visual overview:
