The PvP elite coming together for intense combat… That's what this second edition of the All Star Touch promises! Read all about it in this new devblog.

All Star Touch DOFUS Touch
After the first edition in 2019, the All Star Touch is back – and this time, it'll be international! Why crown a French champion when we could have a world champion?!

This competition combines intraserver tournaments that will qualify 2 to 3 teams per server for the interserver final phases. The final phases will be held on the Tournament server in draft format with a bank of supplied equipment.

Unlike the Abyss Joust, designed to be accessible to all, the All Star Touch will therefore be more restricted and limited to DOFUS Touch's PvP elite! But don't worry, the Abyss Joust isn't gone forever.

Feel free to join the DOFUS Touch Discord where a room specifically devoted to the All Star Touch #2 is now available to answer all your questions!

Format

Throughout the entire All-Star Touch, multi-accounting and lending accounts are formally forbidden and subject to sanctions.

To log into the game, you must only use the tools and methods offered and accepted by Ankama (analyses will be done only on periods after September 14) and violations will be sanctioned.

Qualifiers on the Classic Servers

The format for classic-server tournaments will be Swiss rounds. This format makes for a tournament lasting only 2 days, with battles worthy of the gods! All the information necessary will be provided in good time.

Each server will have its own Discord, run by players involved in organizing the server tournament:

  • Brutas: Mishurra & Newbee
  • Dodge: Spragga & Tomnouke
  • Grandapan: Dumba & DeRelajo
  • Herdegrize: Hironaga & Yell
  • Oshimo: Crazy & Yumik
  • Terra Cogita: Blondie & Full-Pods

The restrictions will be the same everywhere. They are:

Two teams per server will qualify for the final phases on the tournament server, plus one team for the playoffs on the tournament server.

Play-Offs on the Tournament Server

The third-place teams from each qualifier – 6 teams in all – will face off over a weekend to earn their spots in the final phases. Four spots are available!

All the teams will fight each other once in B01 draft matches, two on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday.

For the final rankings in this phase, a victory earns you one point, and a defeat earns you zero points. The teams that come in 5th and 6th will be eliminated.

Final Phases on the Tournament Server

The final phases will take place in BO3 draft matches over the weekend of 4-5 November.

Draft

Starting with the final phases, all matches will be played in BO3 (best of three) (except the play-offs that will be in BO1) with draft phases. The final itself will be played in BO5.

For newcomers, the draft system means bidding farewell to the original classes the teams chose, because the draft will determine the class make-up of each team. From this point on, the teams will have to go through a draft stage as follows:

  • A bans a class
  • B bans a class
  • A picks a class
  • B picks a class
  • A bans a class
  • B bans a class
  • A bans a class
  • B picks a class
  • A picks a class
  • B bans a class
  • A picks a class
  • B picks a class

A banned class cannot be used by any team. Conversely, a class chosen by a team cannot be chosen by their opponent. There can therefore be no class duplicates.

Determining which team will be A and which will be B will be done by random drawing by the referee. For the second match, team A becomes team B, and then becomes team A again for the third, and so on.

During the draft phase, each team has 1 minute to announce their pick or ban after the referee asks them for their choice. After the 1-minute mark, the referee picks or bans at random, and the teams may not contest the choice.

The teams must be present at the time announced for the draft. Absent or late teams may be sanctioned.

Class change potions will be provided on the Tournament server (and of course cannot be used on the classic servers!).

Equipment

All participants will have access to an item bank with perfect versions of pre-determined items. But only for the final phases, if you've been paying attention!

  • All the Dofus.
  • All the trophies.
  • All equipment of level 150 or higher.
  • All weapons higher than level 150 (in five versions when possible: a neutral and four at 80% smithmagic in each element, except for the Archetypal Bow at 40% smithmagic).
  • One pet or petsmount per type of bonus.
  • All Dragoturkeys at level 100.
  • Legendary weapons.

The following equipment will be added:

  • Limbo Wand
  • Gelano
  • Zoth Axe
  • Dreggon Helmet

Imported Characters

Characters imported to the tournament server will be blank copies of the original characters.

  • Only the name, class, gender, and appearance will be retained.
  • They will automatically be raised to level 200.
  • Characters' characteristics will be raised to 100 by default with 995 natural points to be distributed as desired.
  • Each character's spells will automatically be raised to level 6, including class spells and the following common spells: Perfidious Boomerang, Moon Hammer, Cawwot, Release, Lightning Strike, Leek Pie, Weapon Skill, Summoning of Arachnee, and Summoning of Chaferfu.
  • Characters will receive a permanent bonus of +1 AP, +1 Range, and +1 MP.

Good to Know

  • Smithmagic will not be available on the server.
  • Tournament mode will be activated: Participants will not see the initiative order in the timeline, nor the positions of their opponents on the map during the fight preparation phase. This information will be revealed once all characters have clicked "Ready" and the fight starts.
  • The referees will have the ability to pause fights if necessary.
  • You'll be able to reset your character's characteristics and spells at will via an NPC.
  • A paddock will be available.
  • An NPC will let you fight a Poutch.
